Can I return clearance merchandise?
Unfortunately, all clearance items are considered a final sale. Therefore, these items are not returnable, exchangeable, or refundable.
Can I return custom, personalized items?
Unfortunately, all personalized or custom items are non-returnable and non-refundable. They are considered a final sale.
Do you charge a restocking fee?
We do not charge a restocking fee on any of our accessory products which are returned within the guidelines of our Return and Exchange Policy, with the exception of furniture, mirrors, or any items shipped freight or any special ordered items at our retail location. All of these items require a minimum restocking fee of $25.00 or 25% of purchase price, whichever is greater.
I received my order, but something is damaged. Now what do I do?
We strongly encourage our customers to inspect their merchandise as soon as they receive it. All of the products are inspected to ensure they are in excellent condition prior to shipment. All products are carefully packaged to ensure no damages will occur. However, we have no control over our packages once they leave our warehouse and are in the carrier's hands.
If you receive a damaged item, it must be reported to us within 3 business days of receiving your order.
On orders damaged in transit from our warehouse to you, our customer service department will file your claim with the carrier for you. Please just box up the damaged item(s) in the original packaginig. We can only file a claim if the damaged merchandise is in its original shipping and handling packaging. Subsequently, we will send you a replacement package once your claim has been processed. Please allow up to 14 days to process.
What is your return and exchange policy?
Alexis Designs.com guarantees your complete satisfaction with every product we sell and every purchase you make. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 21 days from the date of purchase. We will promptly issue a no-hassle refund or a replacement once we receive your returned items. Please kindly note that we do not refund the cost of shipping or handling. Please allow up to 10 days to process your return when sent via UPS or FedEx.
For all returns and exchanges, please email us first for a Return Authorization Number (RA#) It must be clearly visible on the outside packaging of the items being returned to our warehouse. To receive an RA#, simply email our return department at: returns@alexisdesigns.net. Any returned item without an RA # will not be valid or accepted. Without an RA#, no refund will be processed and no replacement will be shipped. All returns must be sent via UPS or FedEx. Please do not ship returns through the United States Postal Service.
All requests for RA# are answered via email with simple return instructions to ensure your item is returned successfully and efficiently. Please allow up to 10 business days to process your return when sent via UPS or FedEx. Return Authorization numbers are only valid for 5 business days.
Alexis Designs cannot be held responsible for any damages incurred during the shipping process and/or by any of its agents. The customer is responsible for their returned packages until our warehouse receives them. The customer may choose to insure the package for their own safety. A refund credit will not be authorized if the returned merchandise has been damaged through shipment back to the warehouse.
All returned merchandise must be in its original packaging. It must also be in new and unused condition. Any merchandise not in its original packaging will not be accepted or refunded.
For exchanges, new shipping charges will apply for any and all exchange orders. For those orders that received free shipping, we will deduct the shipping fees we had to incur to ship the products to you.
Please only ship prepaid packages back to our warehouse.
Note: Any items that are oversized, special ordered, custom ordered, shipped freight, shipped freight to Alexis Designs will be subject to a 25% restocking fee or $25.00 whichever is greater and the cost to return the product to the manufacturer. This is because not all large items or non stocked items are in our warehouse. We incur a cost to bring it to our warehouse and then to forward it to you and also the manufacturer will charge us a restocking fee as well.
